  This little salon is the best kept secret in L.A. Located in the charming city of Covina ( about 25 minutes from downtown L.A., take the 10 FWY east), it on a side street off Citrus street.

  The atmosphere is a classic, simple and relaxed designed. A small chandelier hangs over the check in desk, which is situated between two cream colored pilars. The burgundy walls provide a good contrast, and the dark hardwood floors add class.

  My stylist is Sabrina- who is the consummate professional- She is down to earth, friendly, courteous and one of the most talented stylists that I have ever encountered- she works miracles and with my thick hair, it is very hard to find someone who really knows how to work with it. She is always pleasant to talk to and spoils you- head and neck massage, lemonade or iced tea. the works. AND she is very reasonable - Usually 40-60 dollars, depending on what you do.

  My only issue with the salon is the behavior with some other workers- Once, while Sabrina was working on my hair, I couldn't help but over hear a rather blatant conversation that two other girls ( stylists) discussing their activities related to oral sex. I don't judge what you do in your personal time, but I thought it was unprofessional. However, to the salon's credit, a quick dirty look from Sabrina shut them up.

  But really, I have been there several times, and each time has been a treat- a wonderful experience. And Ask for Sabrina !

  Great atmosphere and skilled stylists. Sabrina can do it all and she is by far the best colorist I've had.

  Added touches like hand massage and complimentary make up application makes the salon experience something to look foward to.

  I hadn't cut my hair in over a year. Needless to say, I was very nervous about cutting it all off since it had grown almost all the way to my waist. Lorenzo was awesome! He not only gave me a fantastic cut with a razor, which was a little nerve wracking until you see the final results, but also put me at ease during the entire experience. He gave me the perfect haircut, and also got the color I wanted and the highlights on the very first try. And he suggested I donate all the hair he cut to locks of love for children with Cancer, which I hadn't thought to do until he mentioned it. I was so pleased with the experience that I bought my mother a gift certificate for a cut, color, as well as facials and manicure for her birthday. She loved it too!
