My dad used to make me scrambled eggs as a kid and I wasn't allowed to leave the table until I finished them so I'd be there for hours or I'd excuse myself to the restroom and spit them out and flush them. (thus my distaste for breakfast and a majority of chiefly egg products).
I was a bit cranky (low blood sugar ;)) so my boyfriend took me to IHOP. From the outside it looks a bit tiny, but when we were in there it was cozy. I didn't think we would get a seat but we did as soon as we walked in. There was a breakfast frenzy of pancakes and omelettes and coffee among the patrons and ants. Although it was crowded we still felt in our own little world.
Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, I wish I could've remembered her name, it started with an M. We ordered coffee and I like how they give you your own pitcher instead of having the staff refill it all the time. I was torn between strawberry french toast, fruit crepes, and strawberry banana pancakes. I chose the pancakes and they came with hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon. DELICIOUS. The pictures make it mouthwatering and it was! My boyfriend, a big fan of omelletes, got the country fried steak platter with biscuits, egg, and omelette with three pancakes. The omelette was pretty good; the cheese and pepper and sausage blended in like notes of a good song.
I am now a big fan of breakfast. We're going back to try the big bacon omelette, strawberry banana french toast, garden stuffed crepe, and banana caramel cheesecake. Can you tell I'm hungry?

I 'v been to a couple of IHOP's in different areas, but none of the can beat the IHOP in Garden Grove. Not only is the food delicious. The service is wonderful here. Weekend mornings it gets crowded about a 20 minute wait, not bad. Once you enter you're greeted by this wonderful manger. A short guy with a big smile. Very nice and helpful. You can see him doing a little of everything to help his employees. So service will run smooth and it works. The service is wonderful the waiters and waitresses are attentive and they make sure you have everything you wanted to enjoy your meal. The manager and most of the employees have been working there for years. You can tell they enjoy what they do. I always leave full from my favorite German pancakes and happy because I had great service.

I like going here because they really do have the best pancakes in town. The service is fast and efficient and you just can't beat the prices. They also have senior citizen prices so they also can enjoy a nice breakfast.
